I made an interactive game for children that revolves around helping ‘Spoof’ complete tasks before he goes out on his daily walk.

A Tale of Two Doors
In my program the user must choose their fate by clicking on one of two floating doors on a screen. Depending on which they choose they will be transported to a different scene. I spent a lot of time on my backgrounds but it is unlikely the user will get to see them all. Here are a few of my favorites that are included in the code. In all there are 16 different scenes. This is the map for where the doors will take you.

My drawings aren’t exactly what I wanted, especially in the last scene, but it’s an easy fix.

Midterm Prototype Code
Midterm Code
Prototype Gabriela
Final_prototype includes:
– A tool(not done by me) to sketch out the maze for the game , I’ll tweak it to invert black and white every time I press a button and maybe to export a .jpg every time as well.
– Character walk, I`ll include the graphics and maybe an array of images for the walking cycle
– Possible ending Animation – cool animation done fooling a tutorial, symbolizes the character getting out of the maze
– Simple Collision, used an example of color sampler and background imagens of an example, but with the tweak logic to contrains the mouse not to move only in allowed areas.

I had a hard time this week getting my scenes to do what i wanted them to because i was absent. I do not know how to change scenes in one screen. I also need help learning how to put sound into my scene 4 when you press the rock as well as getting the rock to stop moving at a certain point in scene 3.
