amy’s final
David Klein Final
My final project acted as a little toolbox which included a little hammer. One the user pressed the button inside of the toolbox the doll on the screen would break.
Final Project
This project has three parts: short melody from the ‘Nyan Cat’, playing with photocell and LEDs and picture with pointillism on Processing.
This is the whole Arduino piece that was used for this project. As you can see there is a Piezo speaker attached where the melody of the ‘Nyan Cat’ plays through as soon as the Arduino is turned on:
After the music stops playing, the LEDS light are turned on. A person can play with the LEDs using the photocell creating something like a rainbow:

Also on Processing, there is a still image of a tree (a photograph that I took). When the button on the breadboard is pressed, the image of the tree start to pixelate and transform into a image with pointillism. The more you keep the button pressed the more dots appear on the screen and pixelate the image. Otherwise it returns back to it’s orignal state.
Compressed files: final CC (all the sources that I have used are in the arduino file)

Gradual Mosaic Manipulation
I made a tool where a user can gradually make a bigger or a smaller mosaic image by using a potentiometer.
Peter Rabbit Arduino
When button is pressed, two images are shown to give the impression of movement. When button is not pressed, a still image is drawn.
Final: Doggy
Ziggy is a small Burnese Mountain Dog that wags his tail when pet on the head.
If his bowl is set in front of him, his eyes will also glow from excitement; with his bone in this place however, he is far too distracted to do much of anything, however he will still wag his tail in appreciation of being pet. Ziggy also loves to watch TV, but being a dog with no opposable thumbs, he can never get the channels to quite the right setting. That’s OK though, Ziggy loves the watch the screen change colours.
